Heidi
Director of Day Support
Heidi joined all R friends in June of 2010, with a background in Child Psychology and Deaf Services. She began her career in the field at the age of 18, starting out as an Independent Provider. She initially worked with adults, before transitioning to supporting children and their families through early intervention, with the Help Me Grow program in Delaware County. Her work during this time allowed her to form long lasting relationships and bonds that paved the way for her future in this field.
Heidi also continued to gain experience by later becoming a daycare teacher, while continuing to work part-time as a provider for families who had multiples, and for children with diverse needs and disabilities.
Heidi first started at all R friends as a Team Lead before becoming the Dublin Site Director in May of 2013. In February of 2015, she helped open the Upper Arlington location, where she served as the Site Director until moving into her current role in January of 2022.
Heidi is proud to contribute to the work and mission at all R friends, and appreciates the opportunity to make a positive impact every day!
Sondra
Senior Support Director
Sondra has worked at all R friends for 15 years. She started as a participant supervisor, then moved up to a team lead. After a few years she became the site director of Dublin, then moved to be the site director of Gahanna followed by Upper Arlington. In 2022 she because the Senior Support Director. In this role she travels amoung to sites, where needed, in order to support the directors.
Throughout her time at all R friends, Sondra has fallen in love with the field. She doesn’t look at all R friends as just a job, but more as a family. She loves coming to work, giving hugs, and getting hugs in return. In Sondra’s words, “the love you get and give, makes every day a great day! Their smiles are contagious!” Sondra is always looking for ways to bring the sunshine and fun, and help our friends become more independent and reach their goals.
