Candace
Site Director
Candace has spent the majority of her adult working life finding joy in serving others. While attending The Ohio State University, Candace worked at the OSU Wexner Medical Center and then at Westminster Thurber Retirement Community as an STNA. After their second child was born, Candace and her husband, Eric made the decision for her to stay home with her daughters. For the next 13 years Candace ran a daycare from her home providing love, care and support to many families while meeting the needs of her own.
In 2006 Candace returned to the outside work force and took a position as a DSP in a residential setting. Aside from a close childhood friend, this was the Candace’s first time working with this very special community of human beings and she was immediately hooked! While working with individuals in their homes, Candace was introduced to all R friends and in 2011 found her home with the all R friends Westerville family as a Participant Supervisor. In late 2012, she became the Director of the Westerville location.
According to Candace, every day she is blessed to spend with the individuals she works with, is another opportunity to experience teachable moments, not only for her friends and staff but herself as well.
Mark

Mark has been working in the field for over 8 years. He’s originally from Indiana, where he started at a group home before transferring to a DSP position a year later. In that role, he worked one-on-one with young adult men, offering life advice and driving them to family visits, events, doctor appointments, and more. In 2022, Mark moved to Ohio to get married. He started working at all R friends in May 2022 as a Participant Supervisor at our Westerville location, helping our friends improve their life skills and reach their goals. In 2023, he was promoted to Assistant Director at our Lewis Center site and has since transferred back to our Westerville location to fill their Assistant Director role.
